What a weekend!
We had a fun action-packed weekend. First off my big sis Jill just moved here from Arizona! I’m so thrilled! She told her friends in Arizona that she had to move to Texas because her little sister “supposedly has 3 little boys” and she wouldn’t even be able to pick them out of a lineup. Hmmm, what’s her

prediction of a lineup of my boys supposed to mean? She’s staying with us for awhile and I’m enjoying having her around SO much! The boys love her too and she’s been such a huge help. Look, she even dressed Ian for me this morning!? Check out this ensemble.
Notice the too short pants, and the bright yellow “Wiggles” socks? Paired nicely with a button up “Fish” Tropical shirt. And I’m now supposed to take him to Ikea and Walmart with me this morning!? Aye Yie Yie! LOL Then again, I guess it’s not much worse than when he went through the stage of always having to be dressed as Spiderman and me taking him into stores in his costumes. Well, actually I think this IS worse, at least that was obviously a costume and a “tolerant” Mom.
Then we were invited to a “Splash Day Event” at Emerson-Academy. It’s a school that I maintain the website for in Round Rock, Texas. They have such a wonderful facility and they offer care for ALL children and even provide special services for children with disabilities and autism and Down Syndrome in a truly unique learning environment. We had such a fabulous time! The staff and parents and everyone there were so welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, we left our camera memory card at home and didn’t get any pictures.
On Sunday we went to my parents house for dinner. After we’d been there for a long while (longer than we usually stay), my mom asked, are you guys leaving soon? When we said yes, she said “ok, hang on” and off she went. We were all very curious as to what she was up to. Then finally my Dad asked, “Are you looking for that motorcycle”? They have a really annoying motorcycle toy for my boys that plays (very loudly) “Born to be Wild” and my kids have so much fun (and fighting) with it. She said “Yes, and I can’t find it!”. My dad responded, that’s because I hid it under my pillow! LMAO! He’d hidden the motorcycle under his pillow to keep the kids from finding it. We all laughed SO hard! Here’s a tiny (made from a phone) video of the motorcycle, it doesn’t do it’s annoying-ness justice but might at least give you a glimpse.
I hope you all had an equally fun weekend! Here’s to a short work week.. woo hoo!

*grins sheepishly*
Ummm… I thought they were capris.
I am soooo delighted that the motorcycle remains at G-mas!
Hi there! Yay for you having a sister come stay/visit/move by you! I sure miss not having a family (cept my own kids) – it’s such chaos but fun! Enjoy! Every generation seems to have their annoying toys of the decade, haha! I even took a squeaky ball away from Mondo because the noise it made was sheer torture – of course HE loved it! – but I cringed from it. Yeah, I’m the nutcase at Petco who squeaks every darn toy looking for a “pitch” I can tolerate!
