One Stop Boy Shop

I never thought that my Stay At Home Mom job description was going to include “Dog Bodyguard” but alas that has become a full-time job in and of itself. Wonder what a “Boo” is? Well it’s a defenseless dog that must put up with poking, prodding, being chased and body slammed from small children. It’s a dog that has to defend herself with her puppy-love eyes and ’so ugly it’s funny’ tongue. It’s a dog that tolerates more than any living being should tolerate. The chasing I can “almost” abide, she could use the exercise… hehehe It’s a dog thats tongue is 4 inches too long for her mouth.

The kids find her so “pick-able” They are relentless in their torment of poor Boo. I’ve made myself into a human shield to protect this dog from their constant assaults. She’s a permanent fixture on my lap. Poor Boo and poor me, cuz she often stinks and drools.

My husband whom only tolerates dogs (I’m the dog lover) is enamored by this dog. He buys her cute little t-shirts and goofy Halloween costumes, he dresses her in them and then blames me. This description does not fit my husband! I’m sure he’ll hate that I’m tattling on him. LOL

Something draws the males of this house to this dog.. some for torment, some for humor. Me? Well she brings out my maternal instincts in trying to protect her. I bet she can’t wait until these boys grow up!
